Bruce is a New Zealander with a rich Maori ancestry. Having left NZ at the ripe age of 20, he shaped his core philosophy while traveling the world: “Traveling is the University of Life.”
His travels took him to captivating places and a few intense experiences, such as being attacked by a bull in the South of France. He was hospitalized for four months. An unforgettable encounter, nonetheless. Since his matador days, he’s been fascinated with the world of professional and personal development.
His background is in performance psychology, wellness, counseling, coaching, and facilitation. He has taken leaders on a wide range of journeys, including ten-day treks on the Kokoda Trail in Papua New Guinea; facilitated experiential projects for 700 plus employees; lead an outdoor experiential training center; and created EarthCare, a six-day immersion program for International School Students focusing on the environment, personal development, and community connection.
He is passionate about leadership, having consulted with many companies in the Asia Pacific and the Middle East, and held director positions in many companies throughout his career; he knows what strong leadership is.
